About the studio
I’ve always believed that the best creative work comes from a mix of curiosity, thoughtful ideas, and a willingness to see things a little differently. That philosophy is at the heart of The Lookout Co., where I work with businesses to turn big ideas into brands with personality, purpose, and a story worth telling. From building something entirely from scratch to giving an established brand a fresh perspective, I love finding that sweet spot between strategic thinking and creative exploration. My approach is collaborative, a little unconventional when it needs to be, and always rooted in creating work that feels genuine, connects with people, and has a little something special about it.
As a designer, I’m naturally drawn to the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and visual expression. I love a well-considered brand system just as much as an unexpected color combination, a beautifully imperfect illustration, or a piece of typography with a little personality. My work is influenced by everything from vintage finds and thoughtfully designed spaces to slow mornings, time outdoors, and the everyday things that make life interesting.
At its core, this studio is an extension of that perspective. A place to explore ideas, ask better questions, collaborate with good people, and create work that feels as human as the businesses behind it. Because while design is what I do, curiosity about the world around me is what keeps it exciting.

Our style and what influences it
Designer, creative thinker, lifelong horse girl, and someone who has never been particularly good at turning off the creative side of her brain. I’m the founder and creative mind behind The Lookout Co., where I’ve been lucky enough to turn a love for art, storytelling, and all things visual into a career that feels like a pretty natural extension of who I am.
Outside of the studio, I’m happiest with a good book, a really good cup of coffee, or somewhere outdoors with my husband and our golden retriever, Weller. I grew up around horses and wide-open spaces, and I like to think that a lot of my creative curiosity started there. I’ve always been drawn to things with a little history, a sense of personality, and a story behind them, whether that’s a vintage piece I stumbled across, a thoughtfully designed space, or something entirely ordinary that catches my eye.
I’m a big believer in making room for the things that inspire you outside of work, because more often than not, those are the things that make your work interesting in the first place. The Lookout Co. is a reflection of that mindset: a little personal, always evolving, and built around doing meaningful work with people who care about what they’re creating.
